Founded in 1964 by Mr Bouclet, a pharmacist, the company's objective since its inception has been to make products from seaweed, aimed at the medical sector.

In 1968, the THALGO trademark was registered and since the 1970s, the company has supplied major thalassotherapy centres with "micro-exploded algae".

Currently led by Jean-Claude Sirop, THALGO has become the uncontested benchmark in the ''marine beauty'' sector. The company manufactures and sells treatments, cosmetic products and marine nutritional supplements in over 90 countries, to thalassotherapy centres, spas, fitness centres and beauty salons.

Located in the South-East of France in Roquebrune-sur-Argens (Var), THALGO is a growing group, with a turnover of around 55 million euros, over 450 personnel, 15 subsidiaries including 3 international distribution subsidiaries, 3 laboratories, 3 integrated production units, and 20,000 distributors worldwide.
